The price groups are used to group all your own products compared to the cheapest vendor that sells the product. It can provide you with insights into how your products are priced compared to your vendors.

In PriceShape, we operate with 5 different price groups:

  1. Low price: All your products that are X% cheaper than the cheapest vendor

  2. Semi-low price: All your products that are between X% and X% cheaper than the cheapest vendor

  3. Neutral price: All your products that have the same price as the cheapest vendor.

  4. Semi-high price: All your products that are between X% and X% more expensive than the cheapest vendor

  5. High price: All your products that are more than X% more expensive than the cheapest vendor.
