Written by Sarah Fogtmand

Definition

The average vendor price is an attribute that can be displayed in the Activity Log under the “New Price Calculated” section in the slide-in panel of the product list.

The average vendor price if you have selected either to match, go higher, or go lower than the average price in Step 4: Price configuration, where you define the price strategy behavior.

The average vendor price is calculated as the average of the prices from all vendors linked to a specific product. If a vendor filter is applied in the vendor selection, the average vendor price will only include vendors that match the selected filter criteria.

Example

If you apply the filter Stock status = In stock, the average vendor price will be calculated using only the vendors linked to the product that currently have the stock status In stock.
