New prices from PriceShape can be updated directly in your shop.

This can be done in three easy steps

  1. Create a unique PriceShape integration in Shopify this ensures PriceShape can get access to product information

  2. Connect Shopify to PriceShape - add the access made in Step 1. to your PriceShape account

  3. Upload your products in PriceShape - select which product you want added to your PriceShape account

Create a unique PriceShape integration in Shopify

  • Start by clicking “Apps” on the left-side navigation list, this triggers a pop-up in the search bar. From here, click “Apps and sales channel setting”.

  • Click “Develop apps”.

  • If it’s the first time a private app is created, you need to accept the Shopify API License and Terms of Use. Click “Allow custom app development” on both pages.

  • Click “Create an app once again

  • Give the app a name and an owner:

  • App name: Choose the desired name for the app.

  • App developer: Choose the owner of the app.

  • Click “Create app"

  • Now you’re at the front page of the app, from here click “Configure Admin API Scopes”.

  • Under the configuration, PriceShape needs access to the following:

  • Inventory (write_inventory & read_inventory needs to be checked)

  • Products (write_products & read_products need to be checked)

When both inventory and products have read & write access, click “Save”, followed by “Install app”.

  • For the following steps, copy the three passwords and your Shopify store URL and use them to connect with PriceShape:

  • Your Site URL

  • Admin API access token (Note: can only be revealed once)

  • API key

  • Secret key

Connect Shopify to PriceShape

  • Enter settings by clicking on profile in the bottom left corner.

  • Go to integrations and add a Shopify integration.

  • Enter a name, insert your Shopify name, and the three passwords. Once you are done please click "Save".

Note: Please be careful when using the setting "Update prices". If you enable price changes made in PriceShape, will automatically be applied to your shop. This includes new prices from strategies.

Upload your products in PriceShape

Now you have to upload your products to your account, which you do in "Feeds".

  • Click "Back" to add the feed

  • Click "Feeds" and "Input Feeds" to create a new feed in your account.

Select "Shopify" in "select file type" and select the name of the integration in the field "integration". For example, if you named the integration "Shopify test", that is the one you have to add.
